ASC-IIAS Joint Fellowship Programme
the International Institute for Asian Studies and the African
Studies Centre in Leiden jointly offer a fellowship, which is
intended for scholars in the field of African-Asian relations.

Position: NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for one or more
tenured or tenure-track appointments at any level (assistant,
associate, or full professor). Scholars should have expertise in
two or more of the following fields, all pertaining to Early China
from the Shang to the Tang dynasty: (a) archeology and material
culture; (b) history and geography; (c) philosophy, religion and
textual traditions; (d) paleography (excavated texts), epigraphy,
and linguistics. Successful candidates will have excellent reading
of Classical Chinese and an emphasis on interdisciplinarity. |
